Jan-Aage Torp, born 1957, place of birth Japan, Norwegian pentecostal pastor. Language and literature studies at Oslo University and master degree studies at Fuller Seminary in California, USA. 1990–2000 pastor for Seierskirken in Lillestrøm, from 2001 pastor for Oslokirken. Torp is especially known as a church ativist (together with Børre Knudsen and others) in relevant societal issues such as the battle against the abortion law, the (homosexual) partnership law, and homosexual pratice, and represents a radical-conservative revival Christianity. He has taken part in numerous tv programs, and has published books such as Fra nederlag til seier (1991), Ludvig Nessa – Kamp (1993) and Skjebnevalg – Norge og EU (together with Finn Jarle Sæle, 1994).
